We are a liberatory community space where pleasure belongs in our practice of freedom. Centered on Black women and femmes, we cultivate a sanctuary for healing, embodied freedom, and the soulful celebration of our collective liberation.
The Roots of Our Home
Our story is rooted in the blue house rehab in Jackson, Mississippi. We honor the physical and community roots of this space, where liberation is not just a goal, but a practice. We are here to center Black women and femmes in a practice of freedom, grounded in the soul of our Jackson home.
Pleasure as Praxis
We believe that liberation is not a distant goal but a daily practice. By centering pleasure as a praxis, we create a space where Black women and femmes can be fully seen, fully embodied, and fully free. This is the soul of The Pleasure Commons—a community hub dedicated to the radical freedom of our bodies and our spirits.
